2020 World Ski Award Winners Announced

The World Ski Awards, launched in 2013, have announced their 2020 winners just in time for the winter 20/21 season.

World

World’s Best Ski Resort

2020 Winner: Val Thorens (France)

-Val Thorens has won the award 7 out of the last 8 years, only bested by Kitzbuhel, Austria in 2015

World’s Best Ski Hotel

2020 Winner: W Verbier (Switzerland)

United States

US Best Ski Resort

2020 Winner: Deer Valley Resort (Utah)

-Deer Valley Resort has won the award every year since the World Ski Awards began

US Best Ski Hotel

2020 Winner: Stein Erickson Lodge Deer Valley (Utah)

Canada

Canada Best Ski Resort

2020 Winner: Revelstoke Mountain Resort (BC)

-Revelstoke has won the award twice in the past 8 years, with Lake Louise taking the top spot every other year

Canada Best Ski Hotel

2020 Winner: Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside (Whistler, BC)

It’s amazing to see how many ski resorts are out there, from places I’ve been to such as Deer Valley Resort, to bucket list ski resorts like Val Thorens and Revelstoke.
