Tahoe saw a nice little storm last night and Kirkwood was the winner with 16″ of new snow. ย It’s forecasted to keep snowing today with up to an additional 6 inches falling throughout the morning hours. ย The next system moves in on Friday and lasts through Sunday and is forecasted to drop up to 16 more inches of snow.
Kirkwoodย = 16″ of new snow
Sugar Bowlย = 12″ of new snow
Squaw Valleyย = 10″ of new snow
Alpine Meadows = 6″ of new snow
It is looking like a great day in Tahoe today with a solid weekend on tap.
Squaw is reporting a 19-64″ base and they’ve now received 50-146″ of snow this season.

Sugar Bowl is not showing their most dramatic mountain shot; they’re showing a shot descriptive of the amount of snow. Kirkwood could perhaps do a similar, less useless, shot.
Hmmm….. Kwood website reports 16″, not 9″.
