This storm was so big that Mt. Hutt, NZ closed early 2 days ago and stayed completely closed yesterday as this huge storm dropped 40 inches of snow in 20 hours. ย In fact, every resort spoken of in this article is closed today as well due to insane amounts of snow and wind. ย This is a big storm and a great way to start off the 2013 snow season in New Zealand.
