Alex Honnold and Sanni McCandless Honnold Are Expecting Their First Child

On the day of their first wedding anniversary, Free Solo legend Alex Honnold and Sanni McCandless Honnold celebrated by announcing they were expecting their first child.

In a post on Instagram, Honnold said:

It’s our one year wedding anniversary!! And @sannimccandless is pregnant!! Lots happening in our little world, all pretty exciting.

The Oscar-winning rock climber and his fiancée Sanni McCandless got married on September 13th, 2020, in a small family ceremony on the shores of Lake Tahoe, CA. Fellow rock climber Tommy Caldwell officiated the ceremony.
