Yes, the 2012-2013 season at Alta Ski Area has officially come to an end. That’s one way you could look at it. The other way, and the way prefer to look at it, is that when the Collins lift stopped spinning at 4:30 pm on Sunday, the countdown to the start of the 2013-2014 season started up. For those of you keeping track, that means that we now have 207 days to go until skiing returns to the slopes of Alta. And while looking forward is what will help us through the following “snowless” months, looking back is what will help us appreciate the great season we had. So, we want to thank you, skiers.
Thank you for your support of Alta. Thank you for being our built in sales force – recommending us to friends, colleagues and strangers year after year. Thank you for the passion you have for the great sport of skiing. And thank you for your commitment to Alta, both the place and the ideal. Each and every one of you are the reason that Alta continues to be such a unique and special place.
Now get comfy and enjoy this look back . . .
