We woke up early today and skied from open to close. It dumped heavy, wet snow for the first half of the day and then lightened up in the afternoon. The line for the Collins chair was too long for our inpatient ski legs, so we stuck to Supreme, Sugarloaf, and Sunnyside.
The powder off of the Supreme and Sugarloaf chairs was deep and untouched. We lapped Supreme for a while, our favorite run being No. 9 Express. As usual, we found great powder in the Vail Ridge trees and we sent some awesome little cliffs.
The rest of the weekend will be dumping, so go have some fun!
