Five U.S. Americans and two Canadians made it to the final 12 in the men’s Slopestyle World Cup at the legendary Laax Open in the Swiss ski area of Flims-Laax-Falera. While Norway’s Birk Ruud walked away with the victory with a score of 87.01 points, Team USA can look back on an excellent weekend, with Mac Forehand less than one point behind Ruud in second place, scoring 86.28 points, and Alexander Hall in fourth place, less than two points behind his teammate with 84.30 points.

Rounding out the men’s podium was Canada’s Max Moffatt with 85.91 points, who put down a stylish second run, which may have been the fan favourite of the day. His teammate Mark Hendrickson also made the final 12 and finished in overall ninth place.
