It was another legendary season at The Basin, with the resort claiming Coloradoโ€™s longest season. Lifts started spinning for the first time at 8:30 a.m. on October 29 and stopped on June 16, tallying up a total of 222 days of skiing and boarding.

While the fall was dry, the rest of the season made up for it. January brought in some fantastic powder days, with storms totalling 10 inches, 15 inches, and even 20 ย inches overnight. The late season storms (as late as May 12 with 10 inches) kept the resort going all the way through June 16, holding the longest ski and ride season in Colorado.

โ€œWhile keeping ticket prices low, we continued to preserve the experience at the ski area by limiting lift tickets and valuing a quality experience over quantity. We celebrated some massive achievements like 100% renewable electricity, achieving carbon neutrality, and being recognized as a leader in the industry for both sustainability and safety.โ€

Itโ€™s been a fun season at A-Basin, jam-packed with great activities, likeย Slush Nโ€™ Spokes, Moonlight Dinners, the Rise Nโ€™ Shine Race series, and the Enduro, which raised over $12K for a local community member in need. Ski Patrolย welcomed two new team members: patrol pups Echo and Olive.

While itโ€™s farewell to the winter season, summer operations at The Basin will kick off onย June 28.ย
