Make sure to check our Lift & Terrain Status webpage before heading up. A-Basinโ€™s ski patrol updates the lift and terrain status daily when they do their weather report, so it is the most up-to-date and accurate information about what is going on each day.

The resort would also like to remind skiers and riders that they should remain vigilant this time of year as spring conditions can change rapidly. You might expect to work on your goggle-tan only to see a spring storm rolling in. In addition, snow surface conditions can change rapidly and ski patrol is constantly monitoring every part of the mountain. So please come prepared and most importantly, respect all signage and closures. Warming conditions lead to melting snow and, ultimately, water running through the snowpack. Depending on the condition of the snowpack, the running water can significantly weaken the snow and lead to “wet snow avalanches.” Any sudden closures are for your safety only.
