Armada Ski Company is packing its bags and heading east, leaving its long time Costa Mesa, California offices and heading to Park City, Utah. The move puts Armadas headquarters closer to the mountains than their previous location of sunny Southern California, where the closest resort, Big Bear is a two hour drive, and Mammoth close to six. Park City will become the new world headquarters for Armada, and will house a showroom, warehouse, and the research and development center, all amongst the greatest snow on earth. Armadas move to Utah adds to the thriving outdoor sports industry in the state, which is home to Salomon and Rossignol’s U.S. headquarters. Armada expects to create up to 56 jobs over the next eight years, and the state could see up to 1.7 million dollars in tax revenue. Proximity to some of the best skiing in the country, and tax incentives make the move a win win for Armada.

Armada was founded in 2002 by a group of world class skiers, including the late J.P. Auclair. They produce a wide range of high end skis, poles, outerwear, and accessories. The athlete and family owned business has become a leader in the industry, and continues to set the standard of what a ski company should be.
