Today we honor the memory and thank Zoot the Patrol Dog, mountain ambassador, and local celebrity for his life of service across Aspen Mountain, CO. He embodied the soul of the mountain, our ski patrol, and brought joy to every skier and rider who encountered him.

We’ll never forget the days of seeing him riding the gondola up with patrollers, lounging outside the Ski Patrol HQ in his signature red working vest, perfecting his training procedures, and finishing the day riding down on a snowmobile or toboggan.

Our thoughts and our love are with Brad Benson and the Aspen Mountain patrol.

Thank you Zoot, a job well done, you will be deeply missed.
