If you enjoy swimming, rope swings, waterfalls, and exclusivity; this is the place you will be drawn to. The secluded swimming hole was worth the journey that it took to get there. California’s Best Swimming Holes: McCloud Falls Fowler’s Camp Campground is a highly populated area that is home to some of the territory’s most notorious swimming holes on the McCloud river. My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of visiting Lower Falls and Middle Falls over Labor Day weekend. First up, Lower Falls.
