Beartooth generally stays open into early/mid-July. Recent rains, warm temps, and a lower than average snowpack are unfortunately going to close Beartooth early this year. This weekend will be their last weekend.
Wether you made it up to Beartooth or not, I think we’ve all enjoyed seeing the images and hearing the stoke from Beartooth this summer. A ski resort that is only open in summer? Very very cool. Thanks Beartooth.
ABOUT BEARTOOTH BASIN:
– Opened May 26th – June 23 , 2013
– $45-full day; $35-hald day; and $20-power hour, in which skiers can take as many laps as they can in an hour
– 2 Poma lifts
– 11,000 feet at the top
– 9 runs, terrain park, mogul course, races courses
– First opened in 1962, been open for 51 summers
