Montana DoT Use Drones to Recce Beartooth Highway before Clearing to See How Much Snow They’ll be up Against

Before starting to clear the Beartooth Highway this year, Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) crews flew a drone up the mountain to see the amount of snow they would be up against.
