Ski season in California is just about to get a whole lot better, so make sure you’re all set with your pass in hand when the lifts start spinning at Snow Summit daily from Nov. 16 and weekends at Bear Mountain on Nov. 23. Last year the resort didn’t start lifts turning until 8th December, but Big Bear Mountain Resort recently announced that it will open:
•Snow Summit this Friday, Nov. 16
◦Chairs 1 & 8 will spin for the opener
◦Open daily
•Bear Mountain next Friday, Nov. 23
◦Will be open weekends only (Fri – Sun) until Dec 7, open daily thereafter

Temperatures look favorable through the rest of November for continued snowmaking. Additional terrain will open as conditions allow.
