The powder faucet has been turned on, and there are no signs of it turning off. With 7″ of snow in the past 24 hours, Big Sky Resort, MT, has already surpassed 100″ of season-to-date snow. And it’s only just December.
108″ of snow has fallen since October 1st, and the resort has a 41″ base. This Wednesday, December 7, Six Shooter Lift will celebrate an early opening for the season thanks to favorable snow.
On Friday, December 9, Derringer and Lone Tree will also open, including Headwaters Grille and Madison Base.
