South America ski season is getting closer. It usually doesn’t really get started until July, but this early snow can’t hurt anything.
Valle Nevado, Chile is reporting 20 inches of new snow over the weekend. The forecast there is for 10 more inches of snow tonight.
Las Leñas, Argentina is also reporting new snow. They haven’t shown an exact number yet, but it looks like they’ve gotten around 10+ inches and they have another 7 inches forecasted tonight.
Cerro Catedral in Bariloche has also gotten in on the action. They are reporting 4 inches of new snow another inch forecasted tonight.
