12-year-old snowboarder Liam Gratton somehow managed to slip off a chairlift at Table Mountain, SK over the weekend and hold on for around two minutes until he safely reached the top.
“We were going up and I was shifting over and I slipped off.”
– Liam told CTV News
As he was slipping, he grabbed on to whatever he could, in this case the safety bar, and wrapped his arm around it. Riders in the chair behind managed to catch the incident on video.
He’s strapped into both bindings.
I wonder if the cause of him slipping off the chair was him leaning to strap into his binding early?
