Between the resort’s vast terrain and continued investments across the mountain, there is always something new to experience at Breckenridge Ski Resort.
On the heels of installing the brand-new Freedom SuperChair on Peak 7 last year, this winter the focus turns to Peak 8 and the Rip’s Ride chairlift which has been upgraded to a new, high-speed quad to enhance the learning and Ski & Snowboard School experience at this popular peak.
The upgraded chair provides guests with faster access to Peak 8’s primary learning terrain and allows for more time spent on the snow, as well as provide easier and more convenient access from Rip’s Ride over to Peak 9.
The resort will continue to transform the Peak 8 base area experience next summer for the following winter, with plans to conduct grading work and remove old building structures on the snow, and upgrade 5-Chair to a high-speed quad for the 2023/24 winter season, pending regulatory approvals.
All of this will continue to enhance the experience at Breck’s most popular base area.
