Brundage Mountain’s summer season is set to open Friday, June 14, offering a fusion of timeless outdoor adventures and fresh experiences, including expanded live music events and the return of the resortโ€™s classic Sunday Brunch buffet.

Brundage Mountain Resort in Idaho will be open Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays June 14-16, June 21-23, and June 28-30.

The resort will be open for regular Wednesday through Sunday operations starting July 3. Bonus Days are planned for Monday, July 1, and Tuesday, July 2, so guests can enjoy all Brundage Mountain offers for 10 days straight between June 28 and July 7.

2024 Summer Season Highlights

Summer season highlights include scenic chairlift rides, hiking trails, a NEW nine-hole disc golf course, slope-side dining at Smokyโ€™s Bar & Grill, and cross-country and lift-served mountain biking on 30+ miles of trails in the Brundage Bike Park.

The Bluebird Express runs from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm on operating days. Smokyโ€™s Bar & Grill is open from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm Wednesdays & Thursdays, 11:00 am โ€“ 8:00 pm Fridays and Saturdays and 10:00 am โ€“ 5:00 pm Sundays. Summer Activities

Fourth of July Music Fest

The Fourth of July action kicks off with the popular Cat Track 5k/10k running events, followed by an all-day concert on the plaza stage. Admission is FREE and the terraced lawn is a great place to spread out a blanket and enjoy the day away from the downtown crowds. TGIF Concert Series

Brundage Mountainโ€™s popular TGIF Concert Series returns on Friday, July 6. Weekly outdoor concerts take place from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and feature a variety of musical acts and styles. Several food options are available in the concert venue and at Smokyโ€™s Bar & Grill, which is open late on concert Fridays. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome in designated dog-friendly zones. Saturday Sounds at Smokyโ€™s Bar & Grill

Yoga on the Mountain Expands to Two Days a Week

Brundage Mountain is offering more flexibility for yoga fans looking to find their center in a beautiful outdoor setting. Yoga on the Mountain is expanding to two days a week. The free outdoor practices will be offered Wednesdays from 2:00 pm โ€“ 3:00 pm and Saturdays from noon to 1:00 pm. Summer Events Calendar

Sunday Brunch Returns to Smokyโ€™s Bar & Grill

Back by popular demand, the Brundage culinary team will roll out its classic brunch buffet every Sunday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm starting on Fatherโ€™s Day, June 16. The satisfying spread will include fresh fruit and sweet treats like Idaho huckleberry French toast and Monte Cristos, along with several savory choices like egg scrambles, potatoes Oโ€™Brien, biscuits & gravy, and more. The buffet style and separate pricing for kids 12 & under makes this a great option for families. Mimosas and Smokyโ€™s signature Bloody Marys add to the appeal for adults.

New Mountain Biking Clinics + Private Lessons

The Brundage Sports Schoolโ€™s team of certified mountain bike instructors is offering two ways for aspiring mountain bikers to boost their skills this summer. Traditional two-hour lessons are offered daily at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Private group can include up to five guests and package pricing is available.

The Mountain Sports School is also offering skill-building clinics for riders ages 7 โ€“ 12 and 13 and over. These new clinics have a different focus each session:

  • July 12 (Friday) – Foundations of Mountain Biking
  • July 13 (Saturday) – Mastering Cornering and Trail Awareness
  • July 19 (Friday) – Advanced Handling and Obstacle Negotiation
  • July 20 (Saturday) – Putting It All Together: Trail Riding Mastery

The clinics run from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and cost just $40 per day. Space is limited and reservations are required. Mountain Biking Lessons & Clinics.

2024 Mountain Biking Competitions and Events:

Short Track Mountain Bike Races

Brundage Mountain is excited to host Wild Rockies Short Track Races on Friday, July 26, and Friday, August 9. Races start at 4:00 pm and wrap up in time for competitors and spectators to enjoy the free TGIF Concerts at 6:00.

Twisted Turtle Weekend โ€“ August 2 – 4

A third short track race will kick off a triple-header weekend of Twisted Turtle Mountain Bike Racing. The short track event takes place Friday, August 2, with Cross Country and Enduro races on Saturday, August 3 and a Downhill competition on Sunday, August 4.

NICA Youth Race โ€“ August 17

Youth riders will congregate at Brundage the weekend of August 16-18 for the Idaho Interscholastic Cycling Leagueโ€™s first NICA race of the season, the Brundage Blastoff. There will be no Friday concert on August 16 due to the races and all mountain bike trails will be closed to the public Saturday, August 17.

Brundage Mountain wants to remind 2024/25 Winter Season passholders that their season pass includes FREE Scenic Chairlift rides AND a FREE Summer Bike Park season pass at no extra charge.
