TANNERSVILLE, Pa. (Feb. 18, 2025) โ€”Camelback Resort invites skiers and snowboarders to flex their skills โ€“ and style โ€“ in some friendly competition. Whether racing for speed in the Vertical Challenge, showing off impressive feats in the Sunbowly Rail Jam, or donning their most tubular 80s throwback attire in the annual Pond Skim event, Camelbackโ€™s events calendar is bound to bring out guestsโ€™ creativity and competitive spirit this season.

Vertical Challenge

Saturday, March 1 โ€“ Sunday, March 2 | 7 a.m. โ€“ 2 p.m.

The Vertical Challenge is a series of free casual ski and snowboard races held at ski resorts throughout the northeast during each winter season. Skiers and snowboarders are divided by gender and age to compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals in each category. In addition to the races, attendees enjoy a festival element featuring snowy activities for all ages, plus prizes are given away throughout a fun day at the mountain.

Protected: Sunbowly Rail Jam

Sunday, March 16 | 10 a.m. โ€“ 4 p.m.

Sponsored by The Loft, skiers and snowboarders can show off their most impressive tricks to compete for prizes from The Loft and 2025-2026 season passes. Categories include 14 and under ski, 15 and over ski, 14 and under snowboard, and 15 and over snowboard. Registration is $35, including a lift ticket ($10 or season passholders).

Pond Skim

March 29 | 9:30-10:30 a.m. Registration   11 a.m. Line up and start the pond skim 

Join the annual end-of-season Pond Skim in style. This year will be a throwback to the 80s, so retro gear is highly encouraged. Whether skiing, snowboarding, or just here to cheer, itโ€™s going to be a day full of fun and nostalgia. Best Skim, Best Costume, and Best Splash will be awarded prizes.

Tunes on the Tubes

Tuesdays | 3 โ€“ 8 p.m.

Every Tuesday night, beginning at 3 p.m., twilight lift tickets are available for $39 for locals with the zip code starting in โ€˜183โ€™ and college students. Present your college ID, driverโ€™s license, or local school ID to redeem your exclusive discount and parking pass. Themed music each week sets the tone, including country tunes, electronic dance, reggae, and music of the decades. Specials at the Thirsty Camel include half-priced appetizers and $5 drink specials from 3 p.m. โ€“ close. Offer not available Feb. 18.

Thirsty Thursdays

Thursdays | 3 โ€“ 5 p.m.

TGIโ€ฆThursday? Come hang out and toast another perfect day on the mountain at the Thirsty Camel for weekly drink and dining specials.

Winter DJ Series

Saturdays | 1 โ€“ 5 p.m.

Stop by the Thirsty Camel every Saturday for live music from local DJ talent. Enjoy refreshing drinks and comfort foods, and kick back to enjoy the weekend aprรจs scene.
