Closing Dates at Utah Ski Resorts

Sadly, all good things must end. The 2022/23 ski season has been unforgettable, setting records and burning everyoneโ€™s PTO. Many resorts are seeing historical snowfall totals. In fact, Alta, Brighton, and Snowbird have seen over 800โ€ณ of snowfall for the season as of April 5th. So, seriously, if you havenโ€™t gotten your bucket filled yet, do yourself a favor and enjoy the extended season.

2022/23 Closing Dates

  • Alta โ€“ April 23, 2023
  • Beaver Mountain โ€“ April 15, 2023
  • Brian Head โ€“ April 16, 2023
  • Brighton โ€“ Day skiing concludes on April 30th and then Brighton will reopen Milly on May 5th โ€“ Memorial Day for the Milly Meltdown.
  • Cherry Peak โ€“ April 15, 2023
  • Deer Valley Resort โ€“ April 23, 2023 
  • Eagle Point โ€“ April 2, 2023
  • Nordic Valley โ€“ April 16, 2023
  • Park City Mountain โ€“ May 1, 2023  
  • Powder Mountain โ€“ April 16, 2023
  • Snowbasin โ€“ April 23, 2023 
  • Snowbird โ€“ TBA โ€“ Open daily through May 14. Then open Fridayโ€“Sundays and holidays through Memorial Day. With no closing date in sight, Snowbird will continually assess operations past Memorial Day based on conditions.
  • Solitude โ€“ May 21, 2023 โ€“ Open daily until May 7. Then open Fridayโ€“Sunday until May 21, conditions permitting
  • Sundance โ€“ April 8, 2023 โ€“ Sundance will open for two bonus days on April 7 and 8. 
  • Woodward Park City โ€“ April 30, 2023
