A skier ducked a rope to enter a closed area at Copper Mountain, CO this weekend, triggering an avalanche off of a traverse to the advanced Lower Enchanted Forest run, reports Summit Daily.
Copper Mountain Resort spokeswoman Taylor Prather reported that the area was closed, but cameras have caught an individual ignoring the closure, and likely being the cause of the slide.
