Crystal Mountain ski resort in Washington got 16” of new snow this week. Crystal is only open weekends, so the snow stayed for Saturday’s opening.
Saturday morning skiers and riders found 16” of untouched heavyish wetish snow covering the mountain. It was a bit sticky and foggy right off the bat. Then, the sun came out, loosened up the snow, and made it into a killer hot pow Memorial Day Weekend day.
Crystal will continue to be open every weekend until June 16th. Pretty unreal Crystal is staying open so late into the summer. Get up there before it’s over.
Rainier is looking prime.
