Crystal Mountain is having a helluva year and it’s not even officially winter yet. They just got 23 inches of new snow in the past 72 hours and the place is looking white.
This video from yesterday will hurt your feelings if you live in California. They were skiing deep, perfect powder snow yesterday and very likely today as well.
The forecast shows things mellowing out for a bit at Crystal. Right now, they have about 7 days of sun forecasted with cold temperatures. This will be a great thing for backcountry skiing in Washington if the avalanche conditions prove safe.
