The banner on the op of the Crystal Mountain website reads…
“Unfortunately we did not get the snow we needed to open Friday. We are really close and it looks like we’ll get more snow early next week so stay tuned.”
But snow is on the way for Crystal next week… Possibly up to 3-FEET!
10″ at 4,750 FT
18″ at 6,230 FT.
20″ Season Total
0″ in the Last 48hrs
The update for the week stated that Crystal needed 6-12″ of snow to open by this Friday. Crystals weather report says they did not get any new snow within the last 48hrs.
(11/6/17) It was an active weekend and we’re currently looking at 10-20″ of snow across the mountain. It’s a great start and we just need another 6-12″ to start spinning lifts. We’re expecting more snow Wednesday night and Thursday so if Mother Nature delivers we plan to open Friday. That’s right, clear your schedules! We will update you with more information on Thursday so stay tuned. Our snow making system is still a week away from being finished so we’re relying on Mother Nature to work her magic for now. Keep doing your dances and stay tuned for updates.
