Green Valley will be open for skiing and riding. The snowpack is holding up strong, and crews are working hard to keep us shredding till the end. Big thank you to everyone coming together to make this possible. 20/21 Season Passes will be valid and limited tickets are available for purchase online. Mount Rainier Gondola will begin loading skiers and riders at 9 am. Green Valley will be open 9 am-3 pm. Scenic Gondola Rides will be from 10 am-5 pm. The last download back to the base will be 5:30 pm. The gondola will continue to operate for sightseeing Fridays through Sundays in June, and daily summer operations will begin July 2.
The Summit House is open for indoor dining and take-out with outdoor picnic tables along the ridge. Tower 16 is also open at the top of the gondola. They’ve got the Fireside Cantina and Quicksilver Coffee serving drinks and food along with the 10 Barrel Brewing Trailer out on East Peak Plaza in the base area. While you’re in the base area, be sure to check out the demo sale on skis and boards and swing by Right Angle Sports to check out the new selection of summer items, including North Face tents and sleeping bags. Seasons change; your destination doesn’t have to.
