This weekend was (still is) sunny and great. Soft spring corn snow (that is carve-able!), live music, lots of people dressed in beach gear, apres, and sunburns on our pale Northwest skin. The picture attached is from the Jimmy Buffett tribute band yesterday. He even brought his parrot. It was the kind of spring skiing day you see in magazinesโฆ (I swear to god there was a chick in her thong just walking around the summit with a beer.)

Next weekend will be closing weekend. Since itโs Fatherโs Day on Sunday, we are having a Dads in Denim theme which really means, jean shorts and Canadian tuxedos. Prizes will be given out for the best โJoutfitโ and most spirit. Should be a picture-worthy fun time. On Saturday there will be live music on the patio of the Summit House restaurant from 1- 3pm to make apres even more enjoyable. With the Mt. Rainier Gondola, we are able to ski upper mountain until June and some years, July.

We open for daily summer operations June 29th which means no more skiing but we can pass the time until the snow falls with hiking, biking, disc golf and drinking.
Crazy theyโre still open
Still fun up there
