Deer Valley Resort, Utah, plans to extend its season by one week, with a new closing date of April 18, 2024. This news comes after a record-breaking February where most resorts in the region had record-breaking precipitation totals. 14.16 inches of snow water equivalent fell at the Alta-Collins snow stake which is the most for February in the 43-year-old history of Collins Study Plot. The high-density snow has allowed for a super solid base, which has allowed many resorts just like Deer Valley to extend their season such as Brian Head Resort, Park City, and Snowbasin Resort. Deer Valley shared this announcement in a recent press release:
โWe’re thrilled to announce an extra week of skiing, thanks to over 320″ of snow this season! Join us until April 21, 2024, for incredible spring skiing conditions. Don’t miss this opportunity to extend your ski adventures. Celebrate with us and experience the Deer Valley Difference!โ
Ikon Passes for the 2024/2025 season are now on sale and the purchase of next seasonโs pass grants access to the mountain for the remainder of this season. Reservations at Deer Valley are still required for the remainder of the season.
