Deer Valley, Utah, will open for skiing this Saturday, December 2, 2023. It looks to be a fun opening weekend with the weather forecast calling for a high of 17 degrees and a blizzard bringing fresh snow. Free refills anyone? With season total snowfall sitting at 30 inches, Deer Valley has a good base even before this new storm rolls in.
Deer Valley will have seven lifts spinning on Saturday:
- Snowflake
- Carpenter Express
- Silver Lake Express
- Homestake Express
- Viking
- Wasatch Express
- Sterling Express
These lifts will offer service to ten runs: Wide West, Success, Rosebud, Silver Link, McHenry, Trainer, Birdseye, Little Reb, OttoBahn, and Big Stick.
Earlier in November, Deer Valley won best U.S. ski resort at World Ski Awards for the 11th year in a row. This award recognizes excellence in ski tourism, and is a great accomplishment as Deer Valley gears up for the 23/24 winter.
