Easter is coming early to Sugar Mountain Resort, North Carolina. The resort is hosting an Easter egg hunt this Sunday, March 10, on Easy Street, starting at 8:45 a.m. The event is just one of many fun events during March Madness. Since March 4, the resort is offering 25% off lift tickets, rentals, and snow tubing.
“Dress up in your Easter costume and come join Sugar Bear and Sweetie Bear on the slopes in search of prize-filled eggs. You may be the lucky winner of a 2024-25 season pass hidden in the grand prize egg! Or be one of three contestants awarded a prize for most creative, imaginative, and colorful costume. Valid lift/slope tickets or passes and ski/snowboard equipment are required for participation. Event is ONLY for children 12 and under. Participants should meet at the bottom of the Easy Street slope at 8:45 a.m. Please call for additional details.”
Sugar Mountain is located in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains at a base elevation of 4,100 feet. The resort reaches a peak elevation of 5,300 feet and offers 125 acres of skiable area across 20 trails. The resort is serviced by 1 High Speed Detachable Six Passenger Chairlift, 2 High Speed Detachable Four Passenger Chairlifts, 1 Fixed Grip Four Passenger Chairlift, 2 Fixed Grip Double Chairlifts, 2 Magic Carpets (1 – beginner area, 1 – Tubing). 14 of the slopes are lit for night skiing/snowboarding.
