With recent fresh snowfall at Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham and more cold temperatures ideal for snowmaking, the excitement for this ski and ride season is officially here! With these great winter conditions, Vail Resorts announced that on June 12 that it is extending the deadline to buy an Epic Australia Pass to June 19. This means skiers and boarders have one extra week to secure the Epic Australia Pass or Epic Australia Adaptive Pass for season-long access to all three of our resorts.
- Perisher received 26cm of natural snow this past week. Combined with world-class snowmaking firing across the entire resort, everything is now covered in white! This means the Village Eight Express and Carpet 3 are open now and the Perisher Express Chair to mid station will open soon.
- At Falls Creek, snowmaking teams are working day and night adding to the 19cm of snow that has fallen this week. Forecast temperatures will allow mountain ops to continue firing snow guns across the entire mountain as the resort prepares for lifts and terrain openings for the weekend.
- The long-awaited snowfall (16cm in the past week) has finally graced Hotham. The Hotham snowmaking team has been hard at work since Wednesday morning to complement Mother Natureโs efforts. In the meantime, come check out The Bird Bistro, which has reopened and is better than ever.
