Burton rider Yiwei Zhang becomes the first snowboarder to land a cab triple cork in the halfpipe. The 23-year old from China landed a cab triple cork 1440 during the Bud Keene Progression Camps at Mammoth Mountain, CA.
It’s been an impressive few weeks for the progression of snowboarding. Billy Morgan’s groundbreaking Backside 1800° Quadruple Cork almost broke the internet, and Max Parrot quickly followed with a Switch Quadruple Underflip 1620°.
