Freeride World Tour Announces Wildcard Athletes

Last Tuesday, November 14, 2023, the Freeride World Tour (โ€˜FWTโ€™) announced 13 wildcards for the 2024 season. Wildcard spots were awarded to athletes who deserved a spot on the tour but did not qualify the traditional way. Four wildcard spots were given in the Ski Men and Ski Women categories. Snowboard Men added three wildcards and Snowboard Women added two.

Ski Men Wildcards

Ski Men wildcards were awarded to Abel Moga (Spain), Thibault Magnin (Spain), Dillion Flinders (USA), and Kristopher Trudell (Sweden). These wildcards join an already stacked roster to compete for the FWT crown. With 22 athletes, the Ski Men class will be as competitive as ever this season.

Ski Women Wildcards

Ski Women wildcards were awarded to Lily Bradley (USA), Manon Loschi (France), Hedvig Wessel (Norway), and Zuzanna Witych (Poland). These shredders, along with the eight athletes already on the tour, will compete for a FWT championship.

Snowboard Men Wildcards

Snowboard Men wildcards were awarded to Victor De Le Rue (France), Coby Bramwell (Great Britain), and Gabriel Bletton (France). Adding to an already stacked roster, these athletes will showcase their freeride snowboarding for a chance at the FWT championship.

Snowboard Women Wildcards

Snowboard Women wildcards were awarded to Marissa Krawczak (USA) and Nuria Castan Baron (Spain). These two rippers will compete against the five other snowboard women in their class for the FWT crown.
