It wasn’t a bluebird sky day on the mountain, but my soft blue SCOTT Flow Pro Mips helmet brought all the comfort and color while I enjoyed elusively good early-season conditions here on the East Coast.
I must reveal a secret about myself in order to accurately describe how much I liked the Flow Pro Mips helmet. My head is on the smaller side, small enough to fit into the youth-sized baseball hat that my husband bought me last Christmas, and because of this, finding the right helmet size and fit has been like the search for the holy grail.
For reference, my head is 21 inches around. The small fit for my head, ears, and forehead perfectly. On the first ride up the chair for the day, I found that the Flow Pro Mips felt like an extension of myself rather than a bulky helmet. I could hear my lift mates without muffling, thanks to the 360° Pure Sound technology created for the ear pad’s inner part, and the snug fit was seamless. I’ve been using the same, well-loved helmet for years, but I’m not going back after testing the Flow Pro Mips.
In addition to fit, the helmet has ample features to keep skiers and riders comfortable no matter the weather. It is outfitted with adjustable ventilation and smart technology that uses temperature-regulating material to help perspiration evaporate, vaporizing heat and cooling down padding fibers.

The Flow Pro Mips has also been designed to protect the environment while protecting wearers’ heads. The helmet is made of 98% recycled PC, at least 50% recycled EPS linear, and more than 42% eco-content by weight.
