Friends and family of pro skier Bryce Newcomb are pulling together to raise money to help pay for his recovery expenses after he sustained severe injuries March 27 when a cornice broke beneath him whilst ascending Cody Peak south of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
‘Have a Bryce Day’, a silent auction fundraiser has been organized for this Friday and a GoFundMe campaign has also been set up.
Friends can click here to donate to the campaign, which has a goal of $100,000.
The GoFundMe page stated Newcomb was in stable condition in the intensive care unit at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. It went on to state he would need to be moved from the ICU to a different facility for recovery.
