Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park, MT, is now open over Logan Pass to hikers and bicyclists when the road crew is not working.

When the road crew is working, the area between Bird Woman Falls Overlook and Lunch Creek may be closed. Any closures will be marked and signed. The Road Crew Closure is typically in place Monday through Thursday until 4 p.m.

Conditions can change quickly, and the road may close again (temporarily) to hikers and bikers for safety reasons. Follow all posted signage. Violators are putting their safety and the safety of our park rangers at risk and could face up to a $5,000 fine and up to 6 months in jail.

The alpine section of Going-to-the-Sun Road remains closed to vehicles.
