Gore Mountain, New York, will unveil the newly installed Bear Cub Quad with a special ceremony to celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, December 16, at 9 a.m.

ย The ceremony will take place in the Snow Sports School Learning Area near the newly installed Bear Cub Quad at Gore Mountain.
Distinguished attendees will include Olympic Regional Development Authority President & CEO Ashley Walden, Gore Mountain General Manager James Bayse, and Betty Little, Olympic Authority Board Member, along with Gore Snow Sports School Instructors as guests of honor. This event is open to the public.
The new conveyor-load Bear Cub Quad represents a significant upgrade to Gore Mountain’s learning experience. The lift spans 1,912 feet and provides direct access to the easier-rated Lower Sunway trail. ย The new lift loads guests efficiently and provides improved service to Gore’s lower mountain terrain.
The introduction of The Bear Cub Quad marks a pivotal development for the Bear Cub Snow Sports Learning Area. As the primary beginner trail, Bear Cub Run boasts two conveyor surface lifts, serving as a significant first step for novices. The new conveyor-load quad is the second step for those learning to navigate ski lifts, assisting new skiers and riders to master the art of loading correctly.
