Gwyneth Paltrow is denying claims in a new lawsuit that she is responsible for injuries a man suffered in a ski accident in 2016, and claims it was, in fact, him who hit her.

The lawsuit, filed on Jan. 29, alleges that Paltrow slammed into Terry Sanderson after losing control on her skis at Deer Valley Resort, UT, knocking him out and leaving him with a concussion and broken ribs.

โ€œShe did not knock him down,โ€ Paltrowโ€™s filing said. โ€œHe knocked her down. He was not knocked out.โ€

Paltrow has now filed a counter claim, alleging it was actually Sanderson who crashed into her, and then apologized to her and said he was okay.ย She also claims the accident left her a bit shaken, leading her to stop skiing with her family for the day.

Sanderson is seeking $3.1 million in damages over the incident.
