In the New York area lift tickets are going for $80 dollars a day to wait in line, thankfully Plattekill Mountain, which is just 3 hours from New York City, allows individuals to rent out the entire mountain for $2,500 per day any Monday – Thursday. Plattekill is available for private rental for corporate groups, church organizations, birthdays, or simply a group of friends and family looking for a unique experience of having an entire mountain all to yourself! This offer is a great deal and even includes discounts on rental gear and lessons.
When renting out the mountain, if you have 250 people or more, every lift ticket is $10, but even if you have 25 people, $100 per person to have the mountain all to yourself is totally worth it! Plattekill will open the rental shop, have food options in the cafeteria, drinks served up at the bar, and plenty of ski instructors to teach you if so desired. Reservations to rent out the mountain must be made at least one week in advance. Fundraising is available for charities by renting out the mountain during the winter season too and the tubing at Plattekill can be rented out too. You can’t put a price on having the mountain to yourself, no lift lines, no worries about gapers cutting you off on the hill, and being able to get as many laps in as you want throughout the day!
