Explorer Mike Horn and a partner got the shock of their lives when the iceberg they were climbing in the middle of the ocean flipped over, throwing them off the face and coming down on top of them in the water.
Luckily they both survived. Not to be repeated, Mike stated on Instagram!

A clear demonstration of why ignorance is not bliss………if one is going to be in that environment, it would be smart to study the behavior of icebergs……..I have seen many flip like that in the Antarctic. It’s routine. The delicate balance of icebergs is constantly changing.
To climb on an iceberg like that is just insanity.
Even if the berg had not flipped, it was still an exercise in ignorance………
