Over 3 FEET of snow has fallen in the past week on the upper elevations at Jackson Hole resort! With all the new snow the ski patrol was able to OPEN the TRAMย this past Sunday along with Sublet and Thunder chairs.ย Saying the mountain has been riding great might be an understatement. New snow, walk on trams, fresh terrain, and another Winter Storm Warning for the rest of the week! If you aren’t in Jackson right now you are blowing it!
The upper mountain opened this past weekend giving skiers and riders access to terrain that had not been touched yet this season! Most major runs are now open with a few exceptions, notably Hobacks, Lower Faces, Tensleep Bowl and Saratoga Bowl are currently closed. With another huge storm coming over the next few days don’t be surprised to see these opening sooner rather than later.
It hasn’t stopped snowing!ย Over the past week it has snowed every day, with a few of those days have multiple feet of snow. Did I mention holiday crowds have not arrived yet. Top to bottom pow runs with no lift lines, it’s about as good as it gets here in Jackson! With another big storm system arriving this afternoon, forecasted to bring multiple feet of snow with it, a last minute road trip might not be a bad idea!
