James Heim, Eric Hjorleifson, & Terje Håkonsen in one movie? How could it possibly be bad?
Supervention is labeled as a ‘ski and snowboard documentary’ so you can expect a story, but it appears that it’ll have the freeriding to back it up.
The came up with some interesting ideas like jibbing abandon buildings in Svalbard (the furthest north mountains on Earth). Heli skiing in remote places in Norway is eye-oening. The pure Alaska heli ski footage is there as well.
It looks like they really put some time and money into helicopters and cameras. The result is some very good looking shots of ocean, mountains, and cities.
Supervention was shot in Norway, British Columbia, Alaska, and Sweden.
