Kirkwood Gets 10 Inches of Snow Overnight

The small storm last night did something that many small storms do in Tahoe.  It decided to nuke at Kirkwood, and just kirkwood.  It’s still snowing right now and look at the radar from ealier.  There is a small snow spot on Kirkwood and no where else.

Kirkwood received 10 inches of snow.  Now, it’s bluebird and cold at 12F.

Forecast Today:  Scattered snow showers, mainly between 11am and 5pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 34. Northeast wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

SNOW TOTALS IN LAKE TAHOE:

Kirkwood = 10 inches

Mt. Rose = 6 inches

Squaw  = 2 inches
