Report from December 28th, 2019

Brought to you by Alpenglow Sports

We went for a long walk today to get up high, away from tracks, in good snow.

Good snow we found.

Recrystallized velvet powder snow-covered everything north-facing.

The snow was good top to bottom.

Today was the first day that finally got above freezing since the last snowfall that occurred on December 23rd.

It’s been real cold in Tahoe.

When we left the car this morning, it was 10ºF, but the temps got up to about 34ºF today.

We skied 2 runs in the great snow and headed home.

Big day, fun day, good friends, great times.
