video filmed last week of August
Today’s Conditions Report:
“Snow was inconsistently filled in due to an atypical storm wind. In the right spots, it was really good. Sun did a number on things by the afternoon. Wind was picking up this afternoon hopefully it buffs things out for tomorrow.” – Â Zach
Video from today in Las Lenas
“After a long wait through an epic wind and snow storm, Marte finally opened today! The A Factor reared its ugly head this morning, as Neptuno was initially closed for electrical problems, but eventually opened after a false start hiking race and a general shit show. The wind had loaded up some areas nicely but left others funky or very icy. Partially buried sharks abounded, but the deeper pockets were really good.
The wind picked up again this afternoon, but we are all hoping to get some good hike to lines in the coming days, if Marte opens.” – Lee
Las Lenas ski resort in Argentina had a solid powder day on September 1st, as well.
The cool drone video above shows exactly how Las Lenas was holding up during the last week of August.Â
The photos below show us a bit about how Las Lenas was holding up today and during the storm the past few days. Â
The forecast for this week is for big hot and big sun…
