Blue Mountain Resort, Pennsylvania, is the last resort in the Mid-Atlantic region that is still pushing to stay open. All the other resorts in the region have shut down winter operations for the season. However, the Northeast region has had a great season with Jay Peak, Vermont, receiving more snowfall than some mountains in the Rockies and out West. Although it has been a great season for the Northeast, Mother Nature and warmer weather will eventually prevail. Spring skiing is in full swing, and the time to hit the mountain and get some final turns before the season ends is now. Hereโs the list of closing dates for ski resorts in the Northeast.

As always, closing dates depend on snow and weather. Late-season storms or unexpected heat waves could shift resort plans slightly, but most operators are sticking close to their announced timelines. Killington is your best option for skiers hoping to squeeze in a few more turns. It usually stays open through Memorial Day Weekend and offers one of the longest ski seasons in North America. Until then, thereโs still time to chase spring corn, soak up the sun, and make the most of whatโs left of winter.
