Lindsey Vonn Partners With Yniq Sunglasses as New Product Line Launches

Former World Cup skier Lindsey Vonn has launched a range of sunglasses in collaboration with luxury sports brand Yniq called ‘The Sun Collection’. The sunglass collection consists of six different models that are priced between $450-$650.

Yniq was founded by Jon Olsson and Mikael Kenson in Sweden and is an eyewear company that develops and designs goggles and sunglasses, which are produced in Italy. The company’s special technology and design have received the ISPO award in 2015. Lindsey Vonn is a shareholder in Yniq since December 2019.

In February 2021, Lindsey and Yniq had launched a range of 82 limited edition goggles – the ‘LV82’ –  to reflect her 82 FIS World Cup victories. Each pair had a laser-edged numbering on the buckle. The $700 goggles sold out in less than 3 hours.

Due to the massive success of the Lyndsey Vonn limited edition last year, a 2022 limited edition of 150 Lyndsey Vonn branded dual-lens goggles was launched, which also sold out online in 24 hours. It will be interesting to see how well the Lindsey Vonn sunglass collection will sell.
