Mammoth, CA Report: Still Great Skiing From Top to Bottom + 1 Big Jump

I met up with some old friends for some quality laps at Mammoth Mountain, CA today.

My original plan was to hit the park and work on my tricks, but there’s only 1 jump at Mammoth right now and it’s huge…

I’m hoping it’ll shrink with the heat over the next week or two…

We discovered a very fun, exciting run right under Chair 1 that was exhilarating.

After about 4 laps on that, we started doing top to bottom runs.

The groomer off Chair 23 to the race track was great.

The run right under the gondola was also a good time but got a bit sticky in spots.

We even gave Chair 3 a shot and it was skiing well.

Mammoth plans to stay open until Memorial Day & they’re currently operating from 7:30 am to 2 pm.

It’s very impressive how Mammoth farms snow and keeps this place insanely fun this late into the drought year.
