Mammoth Mountain, CA Closes Chair 23 as Closing Day Approaches

As the season draws to a close, Mammoth Mountain, CA announced yesterday that Chair 23 is closed until next year.

Thank you, Chair 23, for one heck of a season. Chair 23 is now closed with operations based out of Face Lift Express [Chair 3] and the Gondola to the summit.

Mammoth Mountain will be open until July 28th when it will bring an end to an unforgettable 260-day season.

The spring/summer skiing has been some of the best we can remember. In fact, we’re considering spending every late-season there now…
